What does "merchant of record" mean for my business?
Zonipay is the legal seller of each transaction processed through your store. We take the payment under our merchant account, issue the receipt, manage refunds and chargebacks, and pay you the proceeds less our fee. You remain responsible for your products, their quality and labeling, and for shipping.
Are research peptides allowed?
Yes, when they are sold for laboratory research to buyers who confirm that use, with no claims of any therapeutic or consumable benefit. Our review and our ongoing scans exist to keep every store on that side of the line. Stores that market to consumers are declined.
Who can buy from a Zonipay merchant?
Laboratories, institutions, businesses and qualified individual researchers aged 21 or over, who confirm at checkout that the purchase is for research use only. We screen orders and can block buyers or regions where sales are restricted.
How long does the review take?
Most complete applications get an answer within a few business days. The usual delay is the storefront: if changes are needed, the clock restarts when you tell us they are done.
Where does the money go?
Buyers pay Zonipay as merchant of record. We deduct our fee and a rolling reserve set according to your volume, and the rest moves to your own connected payout account, then out to your bank automatically every two business days. Every amount is visible line by line in your reporting.
Who handles sales tax?
You do. Sales tax, VAT and similar taxes on your sales stay your responsibility, including registration and filing where they apply. Your reporting and monthly statements give your accountant the figures, order by order.
What happens if my compliance score drops?
You get an email listing each finding, the page it was found on and what to change. Most issues are wording and are fixed in minutes. Critical issues that stay open can lead to payments being paused until they are corrected.
What will my customers see on their statement?
A descriptor starting with ZONIPAY followed by your store name, so the buyer recognizes the purchase. Our buyer help page explains the charge and how to reach you or us.
